Investigating Homeschooling
Are you a homeschooler of the future, planning to keep your children home to learn when they become school age vs. sending them to public or private school? Are you considering this option but just not quite sure?
Chances are you are already homeschooling parents! Children learn everything from their parents very naturally as infants, toddlers, and preschoolers....how to walk, how to talk, how to spot things in God's creation like butterflies, bees, the moon and the stars. They learn the names of flowers and how to plant one. Some children learn things like the names of colors, shapes, and may be reading the written word before school age. God gave our children to us to raise and nurture for His glory.
"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it" Proverbs 22:6.
Remember, God hand chose you as the best parent for your child. You are also the best teacher for your child as no other person knows and loves him/her as much as you do.
Investigating Homeschooling gives parents with young children the opportunity to meet and talk with families already living the homeschooling lifestyle. Do you like the thought of making homeschooling friends for yourself and your children before you begin the adventure in your own home? Would it bless you to be able to ask questions of veteran homeschoolers, take a peek into their lives, before you begin? If you answered YES, this group may be for you!
Members of Investigating Homeschooling will enjoy all of the same activities as our Calvary Christian Academy members; park days, field trips, camping trips, holiday celebrations, potlucks, Five in a Row Fun, Ladies Book Bunch, Roots and Shoots Creation Study Club, summer events, seminars, etc... This is your opportunity to make friends and ask the questions you would like answered before you begin your homeschooling journey.

$150.00 per year per family
(full school year, Sep. - August)
$75.00 per family if enrolling February 1st or later
(2nd semester fee, Feb. - August)
Please note that all field trip and event fees are the
parents' responsibility.
