For parents and/or students! 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Ladies Book Bunch Comes together every other month in the evening for fellowship, prayer, and book discussion. A special time for building friendships with other ladies in our group. Hebrews 10:24-25 Roots and Shoots Creation Study Club Meets monthly for an informal nature walk and study of God's awesome creation. Join us as we take time to appreciate everything He created for us. Bring your sketch pad, pencils, and a picnic lunch. Our club will be visiting the Los Angeles Arboretum and the Los Angeles Zoo for the 2012 - 2013 school year. Romans 1:20 Psalm 19:1 8 Reasons To Do Nature Study Five in a Row Fun Meets monthly for cooking, science, and art activities based on pre-chosen Five in a Row book titles. Calvary Christian Academy was started in 2006 as a full service PSP and support group serving the homeschooling community. It is our heart's desire to provide an affordable group that meets the many varying needs of homeschooling families by offering two different joining options. Our own family has been homeschooling for 16 years and have 13 years of group leadership experience.
Our group has no mandatory meeting requirements. All of our activities are optional.
Calvary Christian Academy does not promote any particular curriculum or teaching method but does offer seminars to assist our families in the area of homeschool education.
We have been incredibly blessed by the very individual talents, gifts, and strengths of so many of our member families that make our group so special. We would love to welcome you to our family!
