Join other CCA moms before our regular Park Day each month to lift the needs of our group, families, children, homeschools and whatever is on our hearts before our Lord Jesus Christ.

Tending the Flock
There are so many opportunities before us to minister to the body of Christ. The willingness to give a few hours of your time several times a year can mean so much to someone on the receiving end. What better way to train up our children than to teach them to focus on someone else in need. This is also the best avenue for friend-making for your teens. Proverbs 27:17
Our group will have different ministries offered throughout the school year...dinners for families in need, Samaritan's Purse, Hillside Farm, Cities4Life, convalescent ministry, and whatever else the Lord lays before us. These opportunities will be whole family in nature.
Our children will also have the opportunity to earn their Keepers/Contenders "Willingness" pin.

Roots and Shoots Creation Study Club
Meet other CCA families for special days set aside to enjoy God's creation. We will be meeting once a month for a casual, slow paced nature walk. Join us as we share a Scripture verse, conversation, and friendship while appreciating everything the Lord designed for us.
This is a beautiful whole-family activity. Moms, dads, and kids of all ages bring your water, walking shoes, and sketch pad and pencils (if you would like to sketch) and meet us for some creation study and time with friends. This is a FREE club that will leave lasting memories with your children and an appreciation for God's creation.
100 Mile Club participants may also use this event to earn a few walking miles!

Keepers of the Faith and Contenders for the Faith Clubs
Come be a part of something very special! Keepers of the Faith Clubs provide wholesome, fun-filled learning experiences while building character.
We will focus as a group on 8 pins/charms to be earned each year. Each pin will have a lesson to be done that will be provided, and will also have a group planned field trip or ministry opportunity for hands on learning and serving. We will celebrate at the end of each school year with a special Pin Awards Ceremony. 2013-2014 school year topics are: Bible Memory, Birds, Farm Animals, Flowers, Oceans, Cheese Making, Trees, and Willingness (character pin). Topics and awards will change each school year.

This is a very special group day! Park Day meets so many different needs all in one beautiful afternoon...play, P.E., and friendship making for our children of all ages and fellowship time for moms. Bring your chair so that we are able to gather together to visit, share information, and support one another in Christ's love.

Couples in Christ
Connect with other CCA adult couples (and singles!) for dinner and a time of fellowship. This is the perfect way to meet other parents in the group and create friendships. These evenings are fun filled and full of laughs and very bonding for our grown ups. Dinner is potluck style.
Moms and dads, take a break for the evening and join us for these very relaxed, special evenings! It is wonderful to make other adult friends within the group for support and friendship. Nursing infants are always welcome!

100 Mile Club
An exciting new way to get active and earn P.E. credit. For parents and/or students! Miles are earned as individual families, on your own schedule, or plan to meet up with some other CCA families! Miles can be earned each month at our Roots and Shoots Creation Study Club meeting.

Join other 9th - 12th graders for our weekly HOME-School High School Enrichment classes. Classes are taught by experienced, educated teachers who truly enjoy the opportunity to teach homeschooled students in a home environment. Classes are small (limited to 8-10 students) which allows for personal interaction. There are no registrations fees, but class fees paid directly to the instructors. Wonderful friendships are formed between the students. Classes offered for the 2013-2014 school year: Writing (to include grammar and vocabulary), American Sign Language 1 and 2, and math classes to be announced.
Field Trips
The best way to learn and remember what is learned is through in person, hands on adventures. Join our families each month for a wide variety of field trips that are fun, educational, and memorable. Our trips are whole family friendly in nature.

Moms' Night Out
Join other CCA moms for some special evenings of fellowship and fun! Moms' Night is a
wonderful time to meet other moms in our group and make new friends in a relaxed, informal environment. Meet us for dinner, a "Taste of Home" potluck, a craft night, a movie night, or a coffee night or two! Meets 4-5 times each school year.

Calvary Christian Academy was started in 2006 as a full service PSP and support group serving the homeschooling community. It is our heart's desire to provide an affordable group that meets the many varying needs of homeschooling families. Our own family has been homeschooling for 17 wonderful years.
We believe that the ministry of our group belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ and not to us.

Our group has no mandatory meeting requirements. All of our activities are optional.
We are focused and committed to offering whole-family learning experiences and social opportunities without grade level separations. The years we have to learn and experience together as a whole family unit pass so quickly.
Calvary Christian Academy does not promote any particular curriculum or teaching method but does offer informational seminars to assist our families in the area of homeschool education.
We believe that the Lord fully equips those He calls to the ministry of homeschooling and seek to walk alongside homeschooling families on this journey.
